The NLL hard gelatin capsule shells consist of two cylindrical, telescopic pieces (cap
and body), where one end of each is rounded and closed and the other open. Each
piece can be transparent, partially opaque or completely opaque; if colored, of
identical or different colors; and be unprinted, printed, or bear other surface markings.
The cap Overlaps the body and maintains a tight friction closure. The closure may be
strengthened by additional means.

NLL produce four sizes of Empty hard Gelatin capsules i.e. 0, 1, 2, & 3

Gelatin Capsules:

NLL capsules are of a new and improved design. The six & four tried and tested prelocks
are positioned so as to prevent the capsule from falling apart during
transportation and handling, yet gently release the capsule to the suction vacuum of
the filling machine to allow efficient high speed capsule filling. The shape of the body
is such that it assures proper positioning in the machine and encourages the rejoining
process so that the filled capsules are ready for final packing. The air vent releases
trapped air to eliminate pressure and oxidation. Finally the double locking rings on the
cap and body hold the capsule securely together to assure a consistent joined length
allowing for an efficient packing operation.
