PET preform - HODMETER

Our 5 gallon PET preforms are specially injected to blow refillable bottles for HOD business. The design, the PET grade and the production of our preforms helps to produce high quality bottles: high stability and more trips with a top neck.

During bottle production and with the stretching comes orientation and a dramatic improvement in physical and barrier properties of PET. Orientation is a physical alignment of the polymer chains in a regular configuration. Thanks to his design, our preform brings the best biaxial orientation for a 5 gallon bottle with the highest planar stretch ratio of the market. The bottle is stronger with our preform than others preforms... even heavier!

PET quality

We selected a special PET grade including a high intrinsic viscosity. Our process is specially managed to keep PET grade quality during injection (no regrind and a proper drying method) in order to get good bottle with high transparency and a low AA (acetaldehyde) level. The blue colorant will complete the shiny impact of PET bottles.

The dimensions of the neck fits to all non-spill caps. As the neck is injected this means high finish level and top tightness for each trip. There is no extra neck ring that could disturb the day to day use.
